Remove the background from an avatar

A messaging app, social network, or company site avatar usually needs a portrait without a distracting background — a room, a street, or random people nearby. Upload your photo and the background around the silhouette is removed, leaving a transparent PNG that fits neatly into a round or square profile frame.

Use the transparent result as-is if the platform supports transparency, or place it over a solid or brand color. Processing happens locally: your photo is never sent to a server and isn't stored anywhere except your own device.
